When we make English fun for children, we allow English to become a magical adventure.

  • Koala Go Brings the Magic

As a teacher, I've found that learning English through apps can be challenging due to varying quality. Non-native speaker apps often have issues with pronunciation, idioms, and grammar. For beginners, native speakers are crucial, while advanced learners might benefit from cheaper, non-native apps. Cultural understanding is vital, and tutors should offer personalized, one-on-one sessions. Choose apps that allow custom curriculums and avoid one-size-fits-all methods. I believe in personalized learning, cultural awareness, and native speakers for effective English teaching. Look for these principles in platforms, and feel free to reach out for help!

  • About Amanda

With years of experience of teaching English as a second language (ESL), I’ve turned grammar into games, idioms into inside jokes, and conversation practice into confidence boosters! I strongly believe that when students are having fun, English sticks.

Teaching ESL to children is one of the most joyful parts of my job, especially when I get to turn learning into play! In my virtual classroom, we don’t just study English, we experience it. We have a way to make things interactive. From interactive games and silly songs, every lesson feels like a mini celebration. Fun lessons reduce anxiety and make learning enjoyable.

I have learned that when students are having fun, they are more likely to stay curious, ask questions, and take risks with their language skills, which are the key ingredients for growth and long-term success.

I’ve taught kids as young as 4 how to say their first words, build sentences, and even tell simple stories. All while giggling through vocabulary games or racing to find colors and shapes on the screen. My classroom is full of movement, creativity, and positive energy, because I know that children learn best when they’re having fun.

When we make English fun for children, we allow English to become a magical adventure.
